The Company KAC Alarm Company Limited was originally established as Kidderminster Alarm
company in 1972. Ron Reid, the founder, was responsible for the design of the
first KAC Break Glass Call Point, a product that has since become the
recognized global standard. KAC has gone on to become the world’s leading
supplier of this type of device and in 2000 the company was acquired by Honeywell
international KAC now produce in excess of one and half million break
glass call point per annum. The active customer base covers more than seventy
countries. Quality ISO 9000 is every responsible manufacture’s foundation and
KAC are accredited with both BSI and LPCB to this operational standard. This
third party certification of KAC
product ensure that they meet the applicable national standards in use
throughout the world such as UL,ULC, FM, VDS, LPCB and many others. As KAC look to the future, their lean manufacturing
